Transcendental Meditation

Transcendental meditation is a technique of meditation which began in the year 1958 and was introduced by Maharishi Mahesh Yogi. TM, as it is generally referred to, is one of the widely used forms of meditation as it involves no concentration and contemplation. The fundamentals of transcendental meditation are quite different and unique from the other systems of meditation and relaxation. Since the TM do not involve any mind control, concentration or breathing control, the techniques are easy to learn and practice. The TM technique is a procedure that allows the mind to quiet itself.

From the deep rest that is gained during the practice, the accumulated stress and fatigue are dissolved. This technique of meditation is unique and scientific in nature. It requires no specific belief or adoption of neither a particular lifestyle nor any special ability. All that it asks for is 20 minutes out of your precious time.
